This organization is for the students and managed by the volunteered students of the dept, headed by a department representative and a coordinator, works with immense zeal in coordinating various activities of the department.  

Departmental seminars delivered by the students and faculty are organized every  week

Festivals such as Diwali, Holi, Lohri, and Christmas are celebrated as an effort to strengthen our cultural heritage.

Sports meets are also organized on a regular basis for the healthy well being of the students. 

The 1^st ALUMNI meet of NCHGSR was held on 12 Aug, 2006

The idea of organizing the meet was conceptualized as a need to provide a common platform and meeting group for all the members of NCHGSR family spread through out the world. It is a noble way of expressing our solidarity with the Alma mater.
